Nineli Presents at RSEQ Asturias

May 31, 2026 conferenceNineliNineli Abramidze KublashvilipresentationRSEQ Asturiastalk

On May 7th, Nineli Abramidze Kublashvili presented her recent work at the RSEQ Asturias meeting of the Real Sociedad Española de Química.

In her talk, “Dynamic Colloidal Plasmonic Metasurfaces via Templated Self-Assembly on Sb₂S₃”, Nineli discussed the development of a colloidal tunable metasurface based on the self-assembly of gold nanoparticles on the phase-change material Sb₂S₃. The work explores how the reversible switching of Sb₂S₃ between amorphous and crystalline phases can be used to modulate the plasmonic response of the metasurface through changes in its optical properties.

The study highlights the potential of phase-change materials as active substrates for tunable colloidal plasmonic metasurfaces and contributes to the development of reprogrammable nanophotonic platforms.

Congratulations to Nineli on her presentation and for representing the group at RSEQ Asturias! The conference abstract and full program are available on the RSEQ Asturias conference website.
