Welcome Glauco Meireles Mascarenhas Morandi Lustosa to the NanoODDLAB!

July 17, 2026 GlaucoGlauco Meireles Mascarenhas Morandi LustosaLustosa

Welcome Glauco!

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Glauco Meireles Mascarenhas Morandi Lustosa to NanoOddLAB at the University of Cantabria as a visiting researcher. Glauco joins our group from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Brazil, where he earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry with a specialization in materials science.

During his six-month research stay, Glauco will collaborate with our team on the development of advanced nanostructured materials. His research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of functional nanomaterials, with particular emphasis on designing new synthetic methodologies to improve electrochemical performance, stability, and reactivity. His work aims to optimize these materials for applications in next-generation energy storage technologies and electrochemical sensors.

Glauco’s expertise in materials synthesis and electrochemistry complements NanoOddLAB’s ongoing efforts to develop plasmonic and functional nanomaterials through controlled growth strategies. We look forward to the exchange of ideas and the exciting scientific collaborations that will emerge during his stay.

We are delighted to have Glauco join our group and wish him a productive and enjoyable time in Santander.
