Alma González España presents at NALS 2026

May 1, 2026

Congratulations to Alma González España for presenting her work at the 5th International Conference on Nanomaterials Applied to Life Sciences (NALS 2026), held at the Sede Afundación Vigo (Spain) from 11–13 March 2026. The conference was organized by the University of Vigo and the Hybrid Nanomaterial Group of CINBIO, and is promoted by the NanoBioAp Cluster, a network of more than 70 researchers working across nanoscience and related fields.

In-Situ Growth of Gold Nanoparticles on Collagen Scaffolds for the Study of Fibrosis in Organoids

Her presentation, “In-Situ Growth of Gold Nanoparticles on Collagen Scaffolds for the Study of Fibrosis in Organoids,” highlighted the use of functionalized collagen scaffolds with in-situ grown gold nanoparticles to investigate fibrotic processes in organoid models.
