One-Step Confined Polymerization of Catecholamine Biopolymers for the Patterned In Situ Growth of Plasmonic Metasurfaces with Single-Particle Resolution

This work presents a one-step confined polymerization strategy based on catecholamine biopolymers that enables the patterned in situ growth of plasmonic metasurfaces with single-particle resolution. The approach offers precise control over nanoparticle formation and assembly, providing a versatile platform for scalable nanofabrication and advanced plasmonic applications.

The article was selected as a Cover Article, with the research featured on the front cover of ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Volume 18, Issue 24.
