“La Semana de la Ciencia” is an event that turns the University of Cantabria and its research institutes into a showcase for discovering the research work carried out at its facilities. This event invites primary, secondary, and high school students to participate in a wide selection of exciting educational activities.

During their visit, the students synthetized a stable gold colloid, replicated a hole-array pattern using nanoimprint lithography, observed how nanoscale object interact uniquely with light, and learned how even chocolate can be nanostructured to gain photonic properties!!

A big shoutout to the NanoOddLAB team for another great workshop! Thanks to Marta, Alma, Pau and Charlène, inspiring the scientific minds of tomorrow!!
